could view and print (I think they said they required an PSF printer) PDF files on a 3270. So if the vendor does exist and we take them at their word it is somehow feasible to do so. With INFO-Print you need the transform FMID(free) and a suite of AFP2PDF,PCL,PS,SAP tranformers(not free)whatever your printers supported. With GDDM installed can use V instead of S in SDSF to View AFP output but the composition and rasterization is pretty awful with just a simple OVERLAY. Sort of went the other route with ePrint and let the enduser choose the printer. Normally in .pdf format. In transition use Lionel's XMITIP to deliver regular messages as attachments converted to .pdf with TXT2PDF even get green bar look and feel with watermark. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
