off-topic, but nearly every VW bug I owned had a key that wore down before I killed the engine. Within 6 months the key would slip out of the ignition when off-road. Panic time when we could find the keys to start the car to get back home, but we could always push start the beast as the switch would still be in the run position. I had one worn key that would start nearly any Bug....

Challenge any teenager to swap a car engine nowadays within an hour like we did thirty years ago.
