Not even that, in the old days. Since it was model dependent, PoOps did
not and could not provide the details, but the CE manuals in the old days
were available[1] to anybody willing to pay for them. As I recall,
Gerhard, as a customer, wrote some code using DIAG, and he had no trouble
finding the documentation.

[1] I'm not just talking about browsing the CE cart, I'm talking about
    ordering a copy as a customer.
