Several things in your request confuse me but I will try to help. 1) I do not know what the 'EE connectivity test' is. Do you have CP-CP sessions between both nodes and working RTP pipes for CPSVCMG and RSETUP? A 'D NET,CPCP' should show you if the other system is up and working correctly. (If any of those terms above are confusing to you, my help will be limited. There is not enough room in an email to teach all of the APPN terms) 2) If you are running a cross domain (subarea) connection then that is not APPN (or EE). Your NJE connection is probably going to continue down the cross domain path. I do not know a way to 'force' it to select an APPN path over a Subarea but with the usual VTAM defaults, APPN paths are preferred to subarea routes. If you have both the subarea and APPN links defined correctly, then both should be available for VTAM applications like TSO or NJE to use. The subarea links can even be used for APPN links with the correct coding of the VRTG parameter. EE is just another SNA transport layer. Your NJE traffic will flow over any SNA transport layer. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
