Could I try SETPROG LINKLIST,UNALLOCATE on all systems in the plex P LLA on all systems in the plex Empty and reload the PDSE with the correct members (I fear my update from another system may have broken it) S LLA,SUB=MSTR SETPROG LINKLIST,ALLOCATE All the above with the task that would be using the PDSE down.
Should/will this work? Would PDSESHARING(EXTENDED) really do anything for me? It seems like the restartable SMSPDSE1 does not work for linklisted PDSEs. But I would try removing the library from LLA control on all systems where it may be managed - CSVLLAxx with REMOVE(data.set) and F LLA,UPDATE=XX (if it is in the lnklst it *is* being managed). Then rebuild a new lnklst set from the current. Then re-updating the library from the plex where it is being used. Then re-add to LLA.
