I'm trying to figure out how to use computers in this function of the patent office. It would have to know how to find software patent ideas under a different name, to look at graphics, and use foreign databases. Someday computers will be able to do that task, but possibly not until after patents have outlived their usefulness. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
