How can you tell from JCL what is input and output? The DISP? Disp=old or
disp=shr does not (in my opinion) guarantee INPUT - what other attributes
of a DD card would conclusively point to a dataset being used for input??
Wouldn't you need the program source or load to determine this? If I just
need some enlightenment - someone please do so - but I just didn’t think a
scan of JCL alone could produce such a list

Subject: [IBM-MAIN] Looking for a product

Hi everyone,

We are looking for a software product that can scan our JCL libraries and
produce a list of ALL input files. Does anyone know of such a product.

We use to have a product called Sunrise from Panorama Software that I think
did something pretty close. If anyone familiar with that product and know
if it is still around? I couldn't find anything when I googled it, so the
name may have changed and/or the company was bought out.

Thanks
