Wasn't there a story a few years ago that IBM has sought a patent
for a queuing algorithm for airliner toilets, then ended the effort
in the face of public ridicule?  Urban legend?  Bad publicity in the
airline magazines?  My employer doesn't  allow me to do patent
searches, so I can't find out more.
