Well, it's for the intellectual challenge, plus the thrill. But yeah, I
don't get it--it's like random vandalism. I can see (but would never
commit) vandalism against that neighbor you hate: at least there you get to
see him be unhappy and deal with it. But messing with someone half a world
away that you'll never meet just seems pointless.

Better you should take that energy and write some USEFUL code, eh?
