ObAnecdote (not directly related, but fun): a friend has lock picking skills (and picks). He swears the following is true. Some number of years ago, he and his wife moved to San Francisco. She got there first, with the car, and apparently racked up a bunch of parking tickets. In the meantime, the relationship was unraveling, they separated, and she neither paid the tickets nor told him about them. Sometime after he got there, he had the car, and parked it legally. When he came out of wherever he'd been, there was a boot on it. And parked behind it was a police car -- empty. He looked at the boot, at the police car, and said, "I can pick that lock..." So he did. And put the boot *on the police car*. When you get booted, there's a ticket involved in that action; when he went to pay the parking tickets, there was no record of his car ever having been booted. He figures the cop was either impressed/embarrassed... I'm not 100% sure I believe the story, but I like it!!! -- zMan -- "I've got a mainframe and I'm not afraid to use it" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
