My only problem with z/OSMF is that I am forced to use it without IBM caring what my preference or opinion is. I understand their desire for a GUI "OPTION", but cannot understand why they want to force a single way of installing an OS when I've (and most of us) have used the previous SERVERPAC install for many years. What's wrong with keeping an OPTION? It works (or worked) great. When I started my IT career, I had the choice to go into the GUI world or the mainframe world. I initially chose the mainframe path because I liked the look and feel of it better than the GUI path. I personally don't want my mainframe to become a giant PC. That's my rant.
