As I wrote - YMMV - that means "your mileage may vary", that means I did
not say nobody need SAD.
IMHO the need for SAD depends on several factors related to skills,
system setup (exits, usermods...), but also on the purpose of the
system. Again, YMMV...

Didn't discover it was hourglass until analysis of SAD.
