I believe that CFCC code requirements are entirely a matter of CFCC (hardware) level. Each new model from the beginning in the 90s has required more 'overhead' storage than its predecessor. Size or number of structures--i.e. amount of user storage allocated--does not matter. From HMC Op Sys Msgs for CF LPAR you can display the amount of usable storage:
DISPLAY RESOURCES nnnnn MB allocatable storage This number should remain constant until/unless LPAR memory profile is changed or hardware is upgraded. . . I meanpure "OS", without any user defined structures. BTW: Is the amount constant or its size depends on number or size of defined structures? Another question: what version of CFCC was 64-bit (supported >2GB memory)? -- Radoslaw Skorupka Lodz, Poland ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
