I am well aware I can and I did. That wasn't the question I asked. 
I asked what the point was of adding OPERLOG processing to a MONOPLEX 
environment. And if it is just to support HZR, then we are getting circular.

I see the point of trying to make the platform more friendly to modern GUI 
pilots, but near as I can currently tell, z/OSMF will require me to configure 
and run WAS (which I don't need otherwise) and then it's the serious CP burden 
of Java (and don't expect me to fire up a specialty engine on my z9). I just 
noticed and thought I would play with HZR and PFA because they came first in 
the Servpac :) 

And speaking of Java, CA-Chorus Manager (aka MSM) does do a lot of good work 
and shows signs of even more in the future. It still is slow and piggish in a 
underpowered sandbox Lpar.
