This also may not be your problem, but I notice in the ISPF documentation for the EDIT RECOVERY command the following caveat: <quote> Note: For edit recovery to work properly, the data set to be recovered, the edit recovery data set, and the edit recovery table all must exist, be cataloged, and be intact. For example, with RECOVERY on, uncataloging a data set and then trying to recover it fails. </quote>
