Good luck on that. If one could get a standard in place to place all those numbers everywhere (cables, paper or software), life would be simpler. It would also be easier if there is a standard way to number those cables and places to plug them in. "Hey, plug in cable 12 in port 34 in front part of cabinet 3! Hurry Up! Are you finished yet?" ... later ...
