I've mounted and read ISO images on Linux (PC, not Z).  I wonder whether Linux 
for z
supports that filesystype.  But that's the chicken-and-egg problem.  You need 
to get Linux
running first.  Perhaps the HMC?  I understand that in Windows the ability 
flickers in and
out of existence.  Perhaps in 10.
