As mainframers retire I've seen them get replaced with folks who tend to struggle for weeks (literally) with things we would call simple (i.e. downloading a third-party product to a USS file). What I'd like to see is the equivalent of a Windows Next/Next/Finish installation of course, but more importantly I'd like to see the *same* installation method for *all* installs - like Windows generally does. Want to install SAS? Run the same install. Want to install z/OS maintenance? Run the same install. It doesn't have to be z/OSMF or Webified.
