Excellent!

Good workaround.

We use other methods (CSI, SYSDSN in CList, homegrown programs, etc.) to check
whether a dataset is there or not.

I did not check it, but, AFAIK, if DFDSS does not find a dataset, it will set a
RC accordingly. Easy to check RC with Control-M.

So, it is DMS or FDR which decide whether to place those IGD* messages or not.
It is annoying, to say at least.

Thanks for telling IBM-MAIN members. I would like to hear what is BMC saying
about this.

And no, we're not using DMS and FDR.
