As I understood the announcement, anyone ordering z/VM
(regardless of the release mentioned in the order)
will get 5.3 *IF* the delivery date is requested as
on or beyond June 29th.

Therefore I ordered, even though SZS was showing me 5.2.
I placed my order on Sunday, June 17.
I was quite put out by other problems in SZS -
1) When I tried to put June 29th as the earliest date
it insisted on showing me my complete order as delivery ASAP.
2) When I gave up and tried a different date - June 30 -
it told me it was not possible to get my order before
July 10.
So I ended up putting in July 10, and the order went through:
