Actually, I was very glad to get the page and spool out of the res pack.
It¹s such a pain to remove later on. The way we install, the starter system
³becomes² the production system after the customization. So the concept of a
starter system disappears.

If you¹re installing your starter system second level, there¹s no need to
allocate a whole, real volume to it for page and spool. It can be just as
happy with minidisks of your desired size and will see them with the proper
labels and be quite happy. So take one mod 27, and break it into two
minidisks, making it both your page and spool. Or smaller, if you¹d like.
Then eventually, you can do the page and spool configuration the way you¹d
like.
