@n.vivia : I used to do the same thing; you would add your dead-key
language (in my
case spanish) to scim, and you would write spanish via scim instead of
using the
standard method.
But last time I tried that it didn't work anymore. My guess is that having
ibus,
scim, xim, etc... I failed to choose the right input method.
