I managed to reproduce the bug in xterm, however, according to http://
code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=388#c6 , it is more likely an XIM
bug.
Gtk2 and Qt4 applications don't seem to have this problem, nor does
openoffice3
suite.
