Comment #16 on issue 1403 by [email protected]: Unable to customize Kana Key
Table
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1403
By the way, I've just created with GIMP the scheme of SCIM's 101-key
keyboard kana layout (101英語キーボード用かな配列) - see attachment.
May be this scheme will be useful if someone will decide to implement this
layout as a part of ibus-anthy package.
I think, it's the best variant for kana layout on 101-key type keyboard.
But maybe it's better to map '+' to 'ー' (long vowel mark) too (as well
as "_") instead of obsolete "ゑ" symbol - it will keep consistency with
Japanese keyboard layout, where 'ー' is located in the upper right position.
The "ろ" symbol is located in an unusual place, but there is no other
suitable key for it (as for me, when using 101-key type keyboard, I prefer
to type "ろ" as RightShift+"`" to keep proper touch typing habit of
hitting the key in lower right position for Japanese keyboard).
