Good Morning - first response to any posts - I'm an old timer cat 27 tall rig
sailor- My boat (#448) had the original Princess that worked fine - set the
curtains on fire the first time I used it tho and I was too numb headed in
those days to use water - so I blew the cabin full of white powder from the
extinguisher...?? I've come a long ways since those days...? After 20 years I
sold "Wind Quest" to a young able bodied family man who is having a really good
time with her -?Arthritis doesn't allow me to move around like I did 30 years
ago.

?

DO NOT USE PROPANE - nobody yet has mentioned BUTANE - Many small power boats
up to about 34 feet?(I'm personally familiar with Sea Rays) use BUTANE fueled
stoves - Propane is heavier than air and may provide an explosive environment
in the bilge / cabin - butane is lighter than air and will disperse itself out
of the boat....? Butane cannisters are available at most ships stores and West
Marine....

?

Good Luck...........capt.bill ludwick - Toledo Ohio

Bill,

I would like to retro-fit my princess compressed alcohol stove on my Cat 27 to
use propane, can you give me more details on how you did yours?

Thanks,
