Jeff
I have a light over the sink as well. When I get the circuit back together,
I'll confirm. thanks
Wiring is clear of negative from the starboard vee berth light counter
clockwise to the port galley.
More wire cutting tomorrow.
Thanks for your help,

It probable goes to the light in the galley.

On my 1988, its above the sink and is a fluorescent light fixture.

I really don't but what's electrical further aft than that? From the factory

maybe it's the rear white navigation light. Owners do add things over time.

Phil

Yes, I did mean negative. Force of habit, I guess.

Do you know where the positive (blue) wire goes when it heads aft from the

port cabin light?

Thanks for your help

Hi Art,

You said neutral, which is the common term for return side (common)

connection in an AC circuit. Did you mean to type negative the typical

common connection for DC?

Cabin light fuse blew and a blew a second time with all lights off.

4 ohms from blue wire to neutral with the lights off?

Wiring runs forward from the starboard panel (with a blue wire) to the

starboard light to v berth light through the anchor locker to the other v

berth light on the port side to the port side cabin light then aft to ??????

I know 4 ohms will produce a 3 amp current on a 12 volt system - not enough

to blow a 20 amp fuse.

Has anyone run into this problem?
