Here is the scorecard:
Original Equipment - screw backed all the way out and laying in a lamp socket -
not the short circuit cause.
PO (previous owner) - light fixture tightened down pinching wires between
fixture and fiberglass- not the short circuit cause.
PO - 3 instances of fixture wires twisted together under electrical tape
without connector - not the short circuit cause.
CO (Current owner) rebedded stantions and let cabin lighting wire slip under
backing washer Grrrr - cause of the short circuit.
