Derek,
Everyboat is a little different so I will give this my best guess on the one's
that seem apparent:
2. Any guidance on placement of the genoa sheet cars on the track? The sail is
a 150. I run my leads just aft of the stantion cosest to the bulk head at the
companionway when going to weather with my 150.
3. What is the steel cable with the clasp dangling from the backstay? That is
your topping lift. It holds up the boom (or keeps it from swinginging if yours
is held up by a vang.
4. I assume that its normal that the genoa hits the front pulpit a bit?
Mine does
5. Is it the Spinnaker halyard that runs through the block on the base
of the mast and back to the cockpit? or is that the link for the
spinnaker pole?
It depends if you run all your halyards back to the cockpit or not. Every
layout is slightly different.
