Bob,

Did you do anything special to the forepeak area? Does water drain out of
there? Any intrusion into the v berth area?

Thanks

Derek.-

Hi Derek,
I have been storing my anchor rode in the forepeak area for years and have not
had a problem. There is a picture in the Sundance Album in the photos section.
I would suggest a larger hawse pipe, because feeding in the line tends to be
slow. I have a rope/chain splice at the inboard end of the chain, and 200ft of
1/2 inch line. The bitter end is shackled to a short tail that is secured to a
2x4. The tail allows me to pull the shackle through the pipe in the event that
I need to add more line.
