Hi Everyone, New here, recently bought a 1978 Cat 27 and need a new mainsail. I tried to "recover it" with SailCare but the price is to close to a new one from what I have seen.
Any suggestions on buying a new sail? I am fairly new to sailing, had a Cat 22 before but never had to get a new sail. I don't race, not interested for now, my wife and I cruise in the Long Island Sound, so I am looking for a main that suits my sailing needs and my wallet (yes, price do matter, I've seen prices from $1200 to $620<---Ebay, Kelly-Hanson) Any advice will be very much appreciated.
