Dan, Thanks for your response and pointing me to baconsails. When I got the boat I new that the mainsail was in bad condition, but wanted to give it a try with sailcare. The sail is in very bad shape, bagged out is the least of the problems, the bolt rope and grommets are in terrible condition, as well as the tack and head areas and either way will need to be change. By looking at it, I believe any of this parts will brake at the first gust.
Agree that since I cruise I don't need the ultimate in sail...thats why I like the Kelly-Hanson (what you get in the sail for the price), but dont know much about them.
