Hello, I recently purchased a new Suzuki 9.9 to mount on the back of my Catalina 27. It is a very heavy engine about 150lbs. I was wondering if it would be reccomended to have a stainless steel backing plate made or if I will be ok to use a thick piece of wood as the backing plate for the motor mount?
