Hi all. My first post here. When I bought my C27 standard rig last summer, it came with a spinnaker and a fragment or two of the associated rigging for it, but nowhere near complete. Apparently, one of the POs had removed everything, then a subsequent PO had begun restoring it, but never finished.
I've reinstalled most of what's needed, but the missing link at this point seems to be the foreguy rigging. Actually, there are fairleads for the foreguy on the side of the doghouse and a camcleat, so the only thing missing seems to be the swivel block on the foredeck. So, my query for those of you with spinnakers: 1) What size/capacity swivel block do you use for your foreguy? 2) Where exactly is the foreguy swivel block located (a measurement forward or back from some common point would help)? 3) What size line do you use for your foreguy?
