[IC27A] Mast weight

I have a 1971 Catalina 27 (hull #65).  I am cruising from New  Rochelle, 
New York to The North Channel of Georgian Bay for the summer,  returning in 
October to New Rochelle.
 
I was going to strike the mast and lay it on deck, but am thinking of  
shipping it from New Rochelle to Buffalo, New York to elevate deck  clutter.  
Does anyone know approximately how much the mast  weights.  I have its length, 
but weight is a mystery.
