I just returned from the Boat Show in the Bay Area. There was a
solar outfit there with some neat looking panels that were rigid and
light weight. They could be mounted on top of a boom, or other
relatively flat or slightly curved surface and hooked in series to
create the amps desired. Check out the home page: aurinco.com and
perhaps you may find something there you like. 80wts seems like a
lot of power to me, but I assume you have figured your power
requirements.

Probably a weekender system. We are at a dock and have 120v all the
time. I keep a small fan running to keep the air circulated and it
does also run an automatic charger wired direct to the batteries.
We don't have any mooring facilities here or near here. I can see
that a trickle system would be great for boats that are moored.
Do you do most of your sailing in the bay there or do you go out in
the big lake (Pacific) west of you? Was ini SF once andl oved it. I
must go back some time. The California coastline is a beautiful drive.
