I replaced my Whale Gusher Urchin pump on my 1986 C-27 a couple of years  
ago. The Urchin Model BP9013 was a direct drop in. It also comes with a 
lifting  cover or door which need not be used.  The door looked kind of like a 
PITA  (a pain you know where) so I didn't use it.
