Don, I haven’t done any Cat windows but have done a couple of others in my 
“boat industry professional” days.

They are basically “glued” into a molded in recess.

On both lobs I had to break out the old plex and grind, scrape and sand out the 
old adhesive.

Then made a pattern out of cheap luan plywood and took that to my plex/lexan 
supplier.

I used a 3M product that is used on car windshields (I forget the name) that 
can be applied by caulk gun.

The only trick you need to know is to mask off everything and I mean everything 
right up to the glue line.

On one job the window also had screws, the other did not. I had to rig some 
2x4s to a pieced together structure along the lifelines in order to apply 
pressure to the lexan while the adhesive cured.

Over all, the job doesn’t require and special skills above “good home handyman” 
but is a large scale pain in the…
