Well, Trish: Horses are individuals and even though horses "in general" like to be brushed (mine stand in line try to push each-other away when they see me with a brush in hand) I can certainly see that some don't like it. How long have you had this horse? Could it be that is not used to being brushed or could it be that he does not yet entirely trust you? Perhaps he will come to like it in time. Anneliese
