Some horses are just more sensitive than others. We had one mule who was extremely sensitive in the body, finally he accepted brushing with a very soft brush. Some of mine like being brushed more vigorously, Dari takes his head and tries to rub it hard on the brush, he loves it. Once all of them got icicles on their coats, all of them let me remove them but him. The sensitive one just couldn't take it, his skin would crawl if I barely touched it, I felt bad because it was hurting him, but trying to remove it was hurting him more. Kim
