Oh, horses most certainly CAN get a leg caught between the pipes of a corral panel or gate. I've seen it several times - but luckily none got hurt before my eyes. I've never seen one get stuck UNDER the gate, for what it's worth. But, just because I've never seen it personally, doesn't mean that it isn't a possibility. I've never actually SEEN a person get a life threatening head injury from riding without a helmet either...but I still ride with a helmet. I hope I'll NEVER see some things.
