A good while back, if I remember correctly - it seems that one of Emily's little friends had it when she was showing western pleasure and Emily was showing hunters, many years ago. You know he has a show on RFD-TV don't you? I don't care for western pleasure, and for some reason, he sort of annoys me for superficial reasons, so I have never watched much he does. That's why the snippet Shirley told me surprised me...but I guess even someone in a discipline I have no interest in can make good points on some topics. Thank goodness for people like Shirley to go mine those nuggets for me! I can't remember now if she said the nugget was about ponying or ground-driving - I think she said ponying - it had something to do with starting young horses. Anyway, I found a used copy for sale cheaply on Amazon, and I ordered it last week. I'll let you know if I think the book is any good...but don't expect me to take up western pleasure showing, ok!?!
