judy could you mark up a picture and show how you measure? I cant figure it out... i was thinking a short mouth was how far the corners of the mouth are from the bars. Icelandics all LOOK short mouthed, but now i see thats a flawed observation. but so is measuring just the lips because of different breeds, like fox, his would be longer than an icelandic but his corners are a long way from his bars. I would like to measure the right way and see if my horses have short mouths! When you say the distance from the top of the nostril robyn, this may be a dumb question, but do you measure UP or lengthwise... i am confused, i just cant picture it.
