Looking at the side of the horse, just place a tape or ruler at the side, beginning at the corner of the lip, or the end of the lip. Just the measurement from the side. In those pictures, I don't have the tape exactly in the right spot, as it's tricky to take a picture with the horse trying to check out what you're doing, while you place a wiggly tape next to their mouth, and take a picture at the same time. Maybe a ruler would be better. Charm happened to stick out her nose at the time (besides the time she tried to eat the tape), but that wasn't included in the measurement. Judy
