We had a dressage instructor that had a Percheron cross he showed and wanted it registered in the American Warmblood association. He had his farrier hot brand him with the Am. Warmblood brand. The farrier had only branded cows before and left the brand on too long. It caused a big sore that took months to heal and left a scar that was big and ugly and didn't look like anything.
