No, I would expect to pay less. We are in alfalfa country. Every farmer/rancher grows alfalfa here. It is a heat loving weed that requires very little water. Perfect for our area of the desert. But there is so much demand for it elsewhere, even at the source (here) it is expensive and in short supply!
