Read the title of that article and read the subject line of this thread. WHY
are feed
prices going up? Is it due to drought? Or is it due to world politics? Is
it due to
other non-weather causes? What are the real causes? Or is are they going up
because of
a very complicated set of circumstances, of which, weather is (as it's always
been) just
one factor.
We can't do anything about weather conditions, but MAYBE, we ("we", meaning
horse owners
of the USA) could get ourselves out of our collective complacency and talk
about the root
causes we have to worry about. Unless we isolate cause and effect, we won't
have a chance
at changing things. I can't vote for any politican that can directly change
weather
cycles. I CAN vote for politicians who have a grasp on some of these other
issues.
