On my Dell Studio 1450 (running kubuntu 10.10) the wireless cum bluetooth hard-block is controlled as an alternate function of the Function 2 key. Rather for sending Function 2, Fn+F2 has to be pressed.
The problem is, it blocks wireless easily but does not revive upon being pressed again. Instead, keeps toggling the state of Blue-tooth. Sometimes just repeatedly pressing the key solves the problem whereas sometimes the system has to be restarted. On Fedora 14, however I remember, I had left trying to resolve the issue as it did not get rectified even after multiple restarts. So I had to boot into <OS not to be named> and resolve the issue. Any idea on how to make this work? -- Anuvrat Parashar http://about.me/anuvrat.parashar -- Mailing list guidelines and other related articles: http://lug-iitd.org/Footer
