Thank you guys for opening my eyes about Dell - I used to think only the Linux support is the problem. I have selected HP Pavilion G6-2229TU as my choice. This one should work as my most important purpose is to develop software and watch movies, so Intel graphics would be fine, and also Intel graphics means that updating the kernel would not mess it all up.
