Absolutely right on! In fact, most people in US univ. has never laid
hands on a non-Unix [insert variant here] m/c.
A good case in point is Phil Greenspun one of the users of the net at
MIT way back in the 1970's. In fact, his email address is still
[EMAIL PROTECTED] from 1974. You can check out his book available online at
www.photo.net/wtr/thebook. In one of the chapters he writes that he
stuck to Unix and didn't migrate to NT but as Indra
has rightly put in we have to deliver the goods, so we still use M$
bloatware.
Has anyone used BeOs? Heard its browser has Haiku poems fro error
messages, that will be cute.
