A note to Shanker and others with problems
---------------------------------------------------------------

During the early days of Linux-India.org, it was discussed on the
linux-india mailing list that with the formation of the different LUGs all
over the country, the members of these LUGs should post their problems to
the main Linux-india mailing list....(of course, there is nothing aganist
ppl posting queries on their individual LUGs ;) for two reasons :-

1. Since Linux-India has the largest number of members, therefore the
possibility of the getting an answer/solution/suggestion for a problem is
always greater. (In fact, it may already have been discussed and the answer
to your question may be somewhere in the archives of the list)

2. If your problem is not a common one, a discussion on it can help the
largest number of people.

But subscribing to Linux-India poses a problem for many....its high volume.
A solution for that is on its way, just hold tight for a few more days with
your
fingers crossed :-)

In the meanwhile, a suggestion I put forward a long time back to those of
you who find themselves unable to handle or do not subscribe to
linux-india. You may send in your questions to me personally to forwarding
them to linux-india...

Cheers,
--Indra.
